Pretty awful app. There are huge flaws in his app. I need to login everytime, even though I've linked my social media account. There's no log of when you last did a session which you need to space out the sessions as they suggest, you can't return to the main menu if you accidentally click on a program. A few times it ended a few minutes early. Since you have to space out your sessions and aren't suppose to do sessions too close it just means your session isn't complete, you can't start over.

I'm about to return this. UPDATE: In order to return, you must mail it back to LITHUANIA at your own expense, which looks to exceed the cost of the device. You've been warned.
The device works well, when you can actually run it through the worst app I've ever used. It constantly stops during a program and often needs to be reinstalled. There is no battery icon so it's difficult to know if the unit is charged. I've had the unit a week and I've not run it once where it didn't stop. I've contacted customer service and had several emails but so far nothing. They clearly know there is a problem.
This app is terrible. I can't even sign in. When I enter my email and password, it tells me to activate my account via en email they've sent. And when I click on the activation link, it brings me to the app. When I enter my email and password in the app, you guessed it - it tells me to activate my account via email. 🙄 Update:. The device also will not pair with my phone (via Bluetooth), which is required for operation. What an absolute piece of junk.
The device is great, but the app is terrible. Please fix the bugs! I basically have to reconnect to the device every time I use it, even when used 2 times in a row in the same time frame. I can only get it to work by running through the tutorial each time. When it says to select music and I do, when I push play, it tells me to select music again and won't start the session. You can buy a TNS unit and ear clip for $50 and do the same thing, and it works much better!!
When it works it's fine but it's always "having difficulty connecting to server" (03/2024) Update: I gave up for a number of months on my pulsetto then started back up 01/2025 and noticed they had finally figured out the connection issue so I can actually use the device now. The new update 03/09 is NOT an improvement...now we have to look at a breathing exercise without option to opt out. Now you have a slider button to change the vibration level (and I never know what its at since there's #s)
Device is great but it is controlled by this app which is very flaky. It only let's me run a session less than half the times I try and then usually only after uninstalling and reinstalling it one or more times. I am a retired software engineer with 30 yrs experience. This app isn't even alpha level and a long ways from production status. Could not recommend this product.
I´ve had nothing but problems so far. The device stopped syncronizing and there wasn´t much help, then they tell me that I can return it, so I opt for this, then they stretch it out that I have to use it for several weeks to start getting results. It´s created more stress and I have this device not working for which I paid a lot of money. DON´T GET IT PEOPLE! Terrible service.
Super Annoying to Use - you have to login manually every time you open the app unless you want to link your account to your social media. If you select a routine you're stuck with it - you must either run that treatment or close the app to pick something else, the latter of course requires you to log in again. It's impossible to use the device without the app, so for something designed to treat stress it's generating quite a bit of it.
I've tried to like this app and device but it's extremely difficult. Customer service is okay however. It's extremely annoying to have sessions suddenly interrupted because of low power settings. Why isn't there an indicator of battery strength? And how can one tell if the battery is even fully charged? I leave it in for hours upon hours and get a red flashing light that never stops. If a red flashing light is the indicator of a full charge that isn't made clear.
Good device, terrible app. Frequent disconnection from the device, why they have to remain connected throughout the session baffles me. I guess it keeps the device itself cheap for them to make? What's worse is the app has no means to resume an interrupted session. The usage history is broken, it records only about half of the sessions I actually complete. Sometimes it records on the wrong day. Not sure it's using the right time zone.
Love the device. HATE the app! I need to uninstall, reinstall and re do all the login info before it connects. Every single time! Not great for a device that's supposed to help with mental health and sleep! Frustrating and stressful. Do they need my 10 year old grandson to help them fix it? Update: Pulsate customer service was excellent and worked with me to resolve my problems with the app. I'm very pleased that I can continue using it successfully. Good job!
Great idea awful execution. The app is awful. It won't keep track of use, and then you receive a pop-up, warning you that if you don't use it 2x a day, it may not work - I call bs, this wasn't advertised. I contacted the customer service email provided. No response. Many complaints in the reviews about the app issue for over a year with no fixes, wished I'd have seen. I bought mine on Amazon and will likely return. Too bad. The hype doesn't substantiate the high price for a pseudo 'tens' unit.
If the app is working correctly, it's awesome. BUT, I've only had the device for a couple of days and have had to un-install then re-install the app several times to make it work. It's very frustrating, getting logged out of the app after every session. Buying a device (that claims to reduce stress/anxiety) that only works with an app that is garbage & causes stress and anxiety to operate feels like an absolute waste of time and money. Do better
I like this device and I believe it's helped with my vagus nerve damage. For the cost I paid, I do think it's ridiculous they want almost $20 a month for three more programs. It's also difficult to manage your subscription because you can't do it in the app. It needs to be forced stopped before it'll connect. Also the levels are really just 1, 5, 7 and painful. I wish there was a medium like a 6 or 8 that was different. So for the price and the subscription, it definitely needs an upgrade.
6/25: Can log in now. Intermittent issues with connecting device to app. Upgrade from 1 to 3 stars. 6/24: Can't log into the app no matter what I try - new user, google, forgot password, reinstall app - nothing works. Contacted support and waiting for reply. Phone number would be helpful. Hope this thing works, because as frustrating as this thing is to set up and use, I'm going to need it!
The device itself is great, I love it so much for stress and pain. Five stars for that! The app isn't so great, though. It's glitchy, it keeps losing connection to the device, and it fails to track my sessions, successfully tracking a session maybe 20% of the time. Also, hot tip: the premium upgrade doesn't really get you all that much, I canceled it because I wasn't using those features. Add actual value to that, and I'd consider resubscribing.
Admin leaves something to be desired. Customer service is good once you contact them about issues, but it's super annoying to have to keep contacting them. Problems to date: 1. Charged 1 month before my subscription was to renew. 2. The app has to stay open for a session to run entirely, and it won't pick up where it interrupted you. 3. Often, completed sessions don't register as complete. 4. I pay for Premium, but Premium features keep deactivating. 5. There are more, but I'm out of space.
I deleted my first review which was a negative experience with the app itself. The issue was, that the app stopped recording my sessions. Since the bug fixes, the app has been recording the sessions successfully. I continued to use the device, I really like the device. I use it every day. I feel positive changes happening. I feel calmer and can deal with stressful situations better.
So completely bummed. When I try to connect the device to the app, it takes forever to respond. Then it won't connect properly--keep getting a message that the app isn't responding. WHEN the device turns on and connects to the app, which is rare, it disconnects at some point, and I lose my session progress on the app. How am I supposed to track my progress or even MAKE progress with this going on ?? And I can't find a number on the app anywhere to get support for these issues. Please help !
