Reviews for StubHub - Live Event Tickets

← Back to StubHub - Live Event Tickets

Purchased tickets to an event. Logged in and did a screenshot of the tickets. Then every other attempt to log in it prompted a log in error notification. So I would change the password, which the app said had applied. But then when I would attempt to log back in at the venue it would give another same error message. This happened over 12 times. The event had to call in to Stub Hub to get it resolved. Worst App experience ever!!

Could not dislike this app more. I can only search for tickets one time and then get errors when clicking on an event to see available tickets. Even after I close the app and reopen, it still doesn't work. I need to uninstall/reinstall the app every single time i want to search for now tickets. And as a seller I do not like how they hide your tickets unless they are the lowest price in the area. Not a good experience as a seller or buyer.

App rarely works correctly. Been 'using' it for about a year. Very often freezes up, unresponsive, or just doesn't launch at all. uninstalled and reinstalled at least a dozen times. Usually, I had to resort to using the website instead of the app. Now I'm done with it and since Stub Hub's customer service is so bad, I'm done with them as well.

Worst ticket resale app. Do not use this service as a buyer or seller! They will rip you off. I lost money on sale, probably because a buyer reneged, I lost the value of my sale PLUS I was charged the cost of my own tickets! I'm not sure how their failure to deliver my sale tickets to buyer meant that they should be entitled to their commission but also the full sale value of tickets. Customer service is in on the scam! Crazy! Don't do it!

This app is garbage. I've used it hundreds of times over more than a decade, but never again. It's basically a scam now: Buy tickets, credit card is charged, tickets never transfer, waste time in chat, waste hours/days waiting for support to solve problem. They make you wait till an hour or two before event, then tell you sorry, we'll refund your tickets. I don't want a refund, I WANT TO GO TO THE EVENT. This has happened to me multiple times - *twice* in a month. DONE.

StubHub is awful, and you shouldn't give them your money. They allow sellers to misrepresent Parking Pass locations, as noted by customer service when I sought a refund, "the Pass the seller sold you is a short half mile walk to the location we showed it as being on the site." Unbelievable they allow this to happen and then deny it is wrong, even though it is clearly a bait and switch. Their excuse is that the Pass you bought is valid, even if it isn't in the location they put on their map.

this company spent half a day telling me they'd been escalating the fact that a seller didn't deliver my tickets. I went to the venue, waited outside and still nothing. finally, 30 minutes before the show after talking with 5 people they emailed me saying they'd found alternative tickets. I clicked the link, and there were none available. 0/10 experience. I would trust Facebook marketplace more than this app

There's a breaking bug in this app. If you turn off Android location service, the app goes into a locked cycle of showing a "suggestion" dialog to turn on location service, with no option to skip it. the only solution is to kill the app and reopen it. and then this damn dialogue will come up again after a while. I will not be forced to turn services on and off for a misbehaving app. do not tell me to turn on something. you need to fix this damn bug. I entered my location manually. deal with it.

BEWARE OVER CHARGES. Very disappointing in this company. Very misleading with the additional fees. I should have used ticketmaster since I would have paid a lot less (including fees). Stubhub overcharged me and misled me with the pricing. I will make sure I use ticketmaster moving forward for all future purchases. Do not use unless you like to give extra money away.

So I posted my tickets for sale. The tickets sold, and the customer wasn't happy with the location due to a fat finger error. same section just wrong row, offered a decent discount for the error on my end. They declined, which was fine. But the tickets were sent back to StubHud, not myself. They lost my tickets, and customer care said they were working to see what happened. never heard back, now I'm getting an 800 dollar charge for not satisfying the sale and they lost my tickets.

you're forced to use the app for most things and it's so buggy that you have to keep retrying or search for different ways to get it to give you the tickets or show your listings. none of the filters work like you'd want. the errors are either non-existent or make no sense. for buyers it's worse than Ticketmaster with their 80% fees - 20% is hidden in the list price and then the other 60% is hidden until the end of the purchase process

This is more about the business than the app. I bought parking passes with my concert tickets (with exorbitant fees), never received the parking passes. It cost me more than twice the price of the passes to park the day of the show, and parking was very far from the venue. I have a disability and planned ahead to avoid this painful and stressful situation. I was finally given a refund for what I initially paid, not the extra $34 it cost me to park. Stubhub sucks, never again.

This was my favorite app to sell tickets. But more recently, even though other tickets are shown for sale at a price, if you load at the same price it's hidden. Have to drastically reduce the price to show as recommended. Also, when looking for tickets on the app, Samsung 24+ Ultra, I receive this message Bad Request - Request Too Long HTTP Error 400. The size of the request headers is too long I have to use web browser to purchase. Hoping other ticket buyers aren't having the same problem

Very buggy app. Even needed to log out but still use the app logged out to find my order. Also bought parking in the app but had to solve several puzzles and search the app and my email to actually access my parking pass. Finally got that figured out, but also when I bought the parking pass I couldn't see where it was (there is no address or description) and ended up with a 45 minute walk to the venue. Not impressed.

I used this app to buy concert tickets. it's been nothing but frustrating, most of the time the app won't work or show you seats in the map. I will say when I was unable to access my ticket, they were great in reaching the seller and making sure I was able to get the ticket. Ticketmaster would have been a better option as the tickets go thru them anyways, regardless both apps seem very buggy.

More expensive and less reliable than other apps. Purchased NBA tickets with "fees included", but they decievingly charge you 30% more fees on top of it at checkout. After screwing me over on price, the app says "waiting for tickets to be delivered" for an hour while we wait outside the arena, only for them to just cancel the order and leave us high and dry.

They will steal your money. They implement a multi-fraud protocol and operate in different ways. 1) They make you pay for a ticket with section, row and seat... then you don't have the ticket available after the payment (they make you wait until the same day of the event). On the same day at the venue, they tell you the ticket you paid for is not available anymore and they offer you very bad options. 2) You are buying the ticket, but they don't disclose the location ONLY after the payment.

StubHub is a ripoff. I list a ticket to sell for $250. I go back and check, and they have the price set over $300. So not only are they taking a cut from my listed price, but they're charging an extra $50 from buyers. No wonder my ticket won't sell. They're trying to scam everyone. If they're already taking money from me as the seller, there shouldn't be any extra fees.

It was one of the WORST experiences I've had in my life dealing with StubHub. An afternoon of waiting for tickets to transfer. The tickets never arrived, I accepted them and waited for them, and I talked to the chat bot, which said they would arrive 3 hours before game time. Nope, they never arrived. I traveled with my granddaughter 1 1/2 hours to attend the game. So, we bought other tickets to attend the game. Aplenty of other details. Just use TicketMaster. Minus 0 rating.

Scam app. The app's actions and responses are fake and seem like a scam. I bought a ticket (quick and easy), but then I must to create an account and provide all personal the information to receive the ticket. Second scam, I had to return the ticket because I can not attend the event. They doesn't refund but offers to sell my ticket. I put it up for sale at the same price I paid, which is also the price of nearby seats cutrently. The app won't publish my seat because it says it's too expensive.
