Having booked their services and paid annual membership fee, I was told by the professional who was supposed to arrive, that they could not do so and would be late. They then did cancel the booking as per my instructions but refused to refund the annual membership fee inspite of my request for it, saying it was not refundable. who would want to use their services if such unprofessional attitude is shown...

Urban Company: AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! 🚫 I'm writing this review as a warning to others: *DO NOT BUY FROM URBAN COMPANY*. Their after-sales service is non-existent! 🤯 I've been struggling with an issue for 26 days, and despite multiple follow-ups, they've failed to schedule a technician visit to resolve the problem. 😡 The worst part? Every day, I get calls from 5 different executives asking for the same details: mobile number, email ID, and purchase invoice.

Horrible customer care. in the name of help there is a useless chat both that keeps sharing contact number of the professional who is cribbing of distance she has to travel and not moving a bit. when asked to connect to customer care, it will repeatedly throw option to cancel / reschedule the booking. I have already wasted an hour waiting for professional to arrive and yet have no resolution. This is for a insta help booking done more than 12 hours ago.

Very poor experience using its Aircon service. After the first service, one Aircon unit started to leak. A reappointment was arranged to rectify the issue. However, the same unit leaked again in a relatively short period. However, as the warranty period was over, the company did not want to rectify this issue. Note that this has only been 6 weeks since the last service. Typically, the period between each service is between 3 to 6 months or more.

The prices for Insta Help have been increased drastically after the first 3 services. Also, the prices vary significantly from one mobile number to another. On my other number the price for the same service is invariably very low. The prices are not constant across services for the same location. This is a bad practice and not ethical means of doing business.

booked service being a regular client. The booking was cancelled and I was charged cancellation fees. Even though I had dropped a voice message to the staff before time that when he is coming, how much he will take to reach, he cancelled the booking. Worst part there is no customer executive service. only chat and that to select from the options available. Urban clap needs to put lot of efforts in customer service segment.

I had booked UC service 3 days in advance as service was going to take 7 hours. Also planned the entire day accordingly. No professional visited, assigned professional not picking up the call, no helpdesk called, only a chatbot available which can provide the option of rescheduling or cancelling. UC don't care about any customer, don't have replacement professionals and don't have any professional support centre. Worst service I have seen in years, giving 1 star as no option of 0 Star.

I'm facing a massive issue with this app. I book a professional for a particular job and after that professional comes he says this is not my job, I think I have been booked by mistake, after cancelling and rebooking the App is choosing same or similar professional for me even if it is not their job, wasting their and my time. after trying to raise a query the automated chat bot doesn't understand the problem and there is no way to connect with a human. this is making like harder ratherthan easy

Terrible experience! I was changed without notice, and my 5 PM service kept showing “8 minutes late” for half an hour. No customer support number in the UAE—only useless chat replies. At 5:40 PM, I was told no one would come due to a “van issue” and to reschedule! Overpriced and completely unprofessional. Not recommended at all.

I booked a service at a fixed price shown in the app, but when the partner arrived, he demanded a higher amount than what was confirmed. When I refused, they cancelled the service themselves but still charged me a visiting fee. This is very disappointing — my money got wasted even though the service was not completed.

when i selected all the services i wanted, they added 200 rs. extra for time selection, and they gave me only 1 option for time, so i had no other option but to select their given time, for which i had to pay 200 extra. It feels cheated.

Advertise only what you can deliver. Any number of times I tried to book insta help I have never gotten anyone who can be assigned in 15 mins. Plus UC services are very expensive compared to other service providers.

Recently the experience has been negative. On two occasions, the appointment was rescheduled at the last min, and had no choice but to accept the reschedule to late in the evenings. Spoke to the helpers and seemed they are overworked, and hence standard of cleaning has dropped. 4 assignments a day and also no time for lunch.

I had a terrible experience. They couldn't solve my issue but still charged me without any valid reason. Initially, the technician assured me that the problem could be fixed, but later quoted double the original price. When I raised a concern, customer care intervened, but the technician was rude even with them. Eventually, I received a call saying that the issue is not serviceable at all. Absolutely pathetic service.

In my last experience, the professional didn't complete the job but marked the job as closed. He also didn't have a proper diagnosis of the issue. He also charged me outside the UC app. The UC customer care didn't bother to take action against him and didn't provide a full refund even after contacting them three times. Wouldn't truly recommend UC as I can't rely on their professionals to do the job properly. Also, unable to rate professionals – there's a technical issue. Bad experiences!

It was my first time using the app & had booked the house cleaning service before 3-4 days, i got the booking for 10th October for 4P.M, but the guy canceled before half & hour. I had made all the preparation & had shifted all the household stuff accordingly. My time & efforts all went to drain & i didn't got to reschedule the appointment as no dates were available with them.!! So this is how they provide service??? Furthermore the refund will take 7 days to credit into my account. Good Going.!!

Very unprofessional services and customer care. I booked my salon appointment on Saturday around 4.30. I checked at 4.15 in the app and it was showing the executive is 6 mins away and at 4.30 they cancelled my booking and rescheduled it. No proper customer support also, most of the time they will say sorry for the inconvenience!!! Will not happen in the future!!

Really disappointed as they do not have proper customer support. The chat option in the app is AI based and it will only give you limited options and there's no call back option available. Not sure how this company is surviving if they are not able to meet the customer needs and queries. You only respond faster on Google reviews, but responding to emails is nowhere to be seen. Great going!!

The cleaning subscriptions were fairly prices which was the highlight of UC when compared to any other cleaning services and I booked a subscription but after the first time, they'll know that the customer would book again hence increased the price by almost 1500 when trying to renew the same plan. This is not I had expected from UC but at the end they show you their true color. PS: For the below response, the market standard rate cannot go from 2100 to 3400 in 2 months, people are not stupid.

App is good and service is good as well but don't understand the payment mode restrictions. Should be a COD for regular customers and not change it to online only as that could be an issue which ultimately restricts usage of app. Service s are already double the market rate and if someone is availing it, let them pay for it after the service.
