So here's my honest take on Chess Master: Board Game. I've tested a bunch of strategy apps and this one's a pretty solid option. It's got great graphics, tons of strategic depth without being overwhelming, and you can play for free without feeling pressured to spend money. The clan battles are a nice social element too. On the downside, the progression does get grindy at higher levels and the ads can be intrusive. But if you're looking for an addictive chess-style game to sink some time into, this is a good choice.

Description

Been using Chess Master: Board Game for a couple months now. It’s basically a chess game where you can play against friends or random opponents online. Pretty solid app if you’re into strategy games.

Here’s what you do: you get to build up your own chess pieces and master different strategies to take down your opponent’s king. There’s also clan wars, which is pretty cool. And you team up with friends and try to wreck other clans. And the graphics look great – it runs smoothly even on my old phone.

Look, if you’re into chess or strategy games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and the ads can be annoying if you don’t pay. But overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
