I've tried a bunch of these open-world pixel RPGs and Megis Adventure is one of the better ones. The core loop of questing, exploring, and building up your character is really satisfying. I especially like the talent trees - lots of ways to customize your playstyle. And the visuals are great too, nice retro vibe. Downside is the progression can feel a bit grindy, especially for free players, and the ads get old quick. But if you don't mind those issues, it's a pretty solid game that'll keep you entertained for a while.

Description

Been playing Megis Adventure for a couple months now. It’s basically an open-world pixel RPG where you find yourself on this isolated island and go on endless quests to help the locals. There’s a ton of stuff to do – you can explore the world, dive into dungeons, battle monsters, build up your farm, and even choose from 27 different talent trees to customize your character. Looks pretty good too, the pixel art is well-done.

The core gameplay loop is pretty solid – you take on quests, grind a bit to level up, then take on tougher challenges. There’s also a cool clan system where you can team up with friends and take on other players. Keeps things interesting.

Look, if you’re into RPGs and pixel art games, you’ll probably get a kick out of Megis Adventure. It’s not perfect – the upgrades can get grindy after a while and the ads can be annoying – but overall it’s a fun adventure that’s worth checking out.
