Description
Been playing Neo Neon for a couple months now. It’s basically an endless vertical arcade game where you tap to make your neon character jump up through a tower of floating platforms. The goal is to land perfectly on each one and keep going as high as you can.
Here’s what you do: just tap to jump up, and try to land on the platforms. There’s also a charge jump you can do by holding down – that gives you a little extra height. And you have to watch out for dangerous tiles that’ll make you fall. It’s got a really slick neon aesthetic that looks great on modern phones.
Look, if you’re into arcade-style challenge games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – can get a bit repetitive after a while – but overall it’s a pretty solid pick. Worth checking out if you want a game that’s easy to pick up but has some real challenge to it.
Editor Opinion
I've tested a bunch of endless runner/arcade games and Neo Neon is one of the better ones I've tried. The core gameplay loop is really satisfying - the tapping controls are simple but there's a surprising amount of skill and precision involved in perfectly landing those jumps. And the visual style is super polished, with a cool retro-neon vibe. But it does start to feel a bit repetitive after extended play sessions. Still, for a free game, it's a pretty solid time-killer that's worth a download.
