Description
Been playing What the Luck?: Lucky Defense for a couple months now. It’s basically a tower defense game where you summon units based on luck – sometimes you get awesome combos, other times you’re just kinda screwed. There’s also a roulette minigame you can use to get better units. Took me a while to figure out how to actually win, but once you get the hang of it, it’s pretty addicting.
Here’s what you do: you set up your defenses and then monsters start coming. You summon units to fight them off, and you can also merge units to try and get more powerful ones. It’s got a good mix of strategy and luck – never know what you’re gonna get. The clan battles are pretty fun too, you team up with friends to take down other players.
Look, if you’re into tower defense games and don’t mind a bit of randomness, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades can get grindy after a while and the ads can be annoying – but overall it’s a solid time-waster. Worth checking out if you’re looking for something new to play.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on What the Luck?: Lucky Defense. I've tested a bunch of tower defense games and this one's got a pretty unique spin with the whole luck-based summoning mechanic. It's kinda chaotic but in a fun way - you never know what units you're gonna get, so there's always an element of surprise. The graphics look great and it runs smoothly even on my older phone. But I will say the progression can get a bit grindy if you don't want to pay, and the random nature of the gameplay might not be for everyone. Overall though, I'd say it's a pretty solid time-killer if you're into this genre.
