Been playing Riptide GP: Renegade for a couple months now. It’s basically a fast-paced hydrojet racing game where you zoom around futuristic cityscapes and dodge the cops. The single player career mode is pretty fun – you start off as a racer who gets kicked out of the league, so you gotta work your way back up by taking down rival bosses and building your crew.
There’s a ton of different vehicles to unlock and customize, and the controls are pretty tight. You can also take your skills online and battle it out with other players in 8-player races. The online mode is where it really shines, with some intense, high-speed competition.
Look, if you’re into racing games with a cool futuristic vibe, you’ll probably dig Riptide GP. It’s not perfect – the progression can get a little grindy at higher levels and the ads can be annoying if you don’t wanna pay. But overall it’s a pretty solid hydrojet racing experience that’s worth checking out.
