Been playing Star Trek Lower Decks Game for a couple months now. It’s basically an idle strategy game where you build up your starship and crew, then team up with friends to take on other players. Pretty solid if you’re into Star Trek or just like casual strategy games.

Here’s what you do: you start by customizing your own crew, like Boimler, Tendi, Rutherford and Mariner. And then you gotta manage resources, upgrade your ship, and complete missions. There’s also clan battles which are pretty fun – you team up with your friends to try and take down other clans. It’s got a good mix of strategy and humor from the show.

Look, if you’re a Star Trek fan you’ll probably dig this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades can take forever at higher levels and there are some annoying ads – but overall it scratches that strategy itch pretty well. Worth checking out if you want an easy-to-pick-up Star Trek game.

So here's my honest take on Star Trek Lower Decks Game. I've tested a bunch of idle strategy games and this one's pretty solid. The theming is great if you're a fan of the show, and the core gameplay loop of building up your ship and battling other players is addictive. And the clan battles are a nice social element too. But I do have to ding it a bit for the grindy upgrade system and the somewhat intrusive ads. Compared to other games in the genre, this one's a bit more casual and bite-sized, which I think works in its favor. Overall, if you like Star Trek and strategy games, I'd say give this a try.
